About Us

My husband and I stood at the front of our church on March 12. I held our 4 month old son, who wore a crisp white outfit and little white shoes, the same outfit his Daddy had worn many years ago at his own baptism. The introvert in me was anxious as all eyes rested on us. I prayed that our son, Logan wouldn’t decide in that moment that he too was an introvert and start crying. If I’m being honest, a small part of me was also hoping that he wouldn’t have a blow out all over that beautiful white outfit as I handed him to our pastor. But more importantly, I listened to our pastor speak to me and my husband about the responsibility we carried in raising Logan to know the Good News of the Gospel.

He was being baptized, but it was our job to bring him to church, to read the Bible with him, to teach him about the Good News of a loving savior. Eventually, we would teach him how to read the Bible on his own, how to pray, and so on. We nervously accepted this calling as we watched the water sprinkle down our son’s forehead.

Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old, he will not depart from it.” Wherever you are in your journey as a Christian parent, you have likely either had the pleasure of watching your child(ren) be baptized or will one day experience it. Either way, you have the beautiful calling to raise your children in the way and the truth of Christ.

3 John 1:4 says, "I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth." In this verse, John is expressing his deep joy in learning that those he cares for are living according to the truth. We as Christians and as parents can find that same joy in watching our children believe the Good News that comes from Jesus' Birth, Crucifixion, and Resurrection and go on to share that faith with others.

With all this in mind, I created my first activity booklet to equip others with engaging resources to teach the important truths of God's Word to children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and any other children who need to hear the Good News!

So today, I invite you to "step into a world of joy" as you help your child take their first humble steps into a beautiful relationship with a loving Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
